Windward has engaged the services of Driver SPG to serve as general contractor for the Academic Hub. The Anaheim-based company has extensive knowledge and deep experience completing similar projects on school campuses, where maintaining a safe and productive environment is paramount. The firm’s educational client roster includes: the California Institute of Technology, Chapman University, Loma Linda University, New Community Jewish High School, St. Junipero Serra Catholic School, and the University of Southern California.
 
Driver SPG also has substantial experience building highly technical theater spaces, including recent projects at Netflix’ Los Angeles headquarters office and Discover Cube Orange County. In its work on Windward’s campus, Driver SPG is focusing on keeping students, faculty and staff, and the community safe; executing construction while minimizing the impact to ongoing educational activities; and delivering state-of-the-art facilities that will benefit generations of students to come.

Construction and Safety Measures


During the renovation and construction process Windward School, and its contractors, will continue to uphold the highest safety standards and protocols. This includes wearing the proper facing coverings and personal protective equipment, maintaining a minimum of six feet* separation between individuals on the worksite, disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, and a designated Site Safety Representative to ensure that all safety measures are followed at all times.
