About Our Architects—JSFA

 Windward was honored to partner with John Sergio Fisher & Associates, Inc. (JSFA), on the Academic Hub and the future Innovation and Arts Center and Milken Family Community Gathering Plaza. JSFA specializes in the programming and design of new, restored and renovated theatres, as well as fine arts, visual arts, performing arts and entertainment facilities. JSFA has designed over 317 performing arts venues for drama, musicals, dance, opera, orchestra, band, choral concerts and recitals throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia and South America. JSFA is one of the only two architecture firms in the U.S. who has in-house theatre consulting and acoustical consulting divisions, which fosters coordinated and functional systems. JSFA’s internal theatre and acoustical expertise and services encompass audience chambers, stages and support spaces, seating arrangements and sightlines, acoustics, theatrical lighting control and distribution, rigging and draperies, variable platforms, and stage lifts and machinery.
